Engine 12 Fire Station and Mixed-Income Apartments

In a competitive RFP process, Rift Valley was awarded as the developer for the redevelopment of Engine 12 located at 2225 5th St NE and 513 Rhode Island Ave NE. On these parcels, we will deliver a 150-unit, mixed-income, mixed-use building which will include a state-of-the-art fire station on the ground floor.

The high-caliber team to deliver this complex project includes Cunningham Quill as the lead architect and designer, Manns Woodward Studios, a design firm specializing in public safety buildings, and GCS Sigal, a general contractor with extensive success delivering public buildings in the District.
